Join our Group Adventure to Uganda in 2024

After our great success the last two years, we're bringing the Uganda Group Adventure back! With our trusted Ugandan guides and the same spirit of like-minded, adventure-seeking travellers, we'll bring in a new chapter of Destination Chaser Group Adventures. Our founder, Andi, won't be on this trip but will be managing everything from the background and selecting the group to ensure the same spirit of adventure and welcoming atmosphere.

Why the price? Almost half of the price is trekking permits, that translate to conservation fees - since both the Gorillas, and the chimpanzees are, sadly, an endangered species, the conservation and protection of these beautiful animals is very costly to maintain (think: constant park rangers in thick jungle, fight against illegal poaching, trying to buy back land so it does not end up being used for deforestation and habitat loss, ...)

So a big part of this price is going entirely to the conservation of these animals that we are coming to see, and I think that is beautiful.

Besides from that, basically everything on ground is included - all transportation, from breakfast, lunch, to dinner, lodging, and of course the entrance and conservation fees.

What will we experience?

We believe that good travel is about taking you on a ride, so to transmit the feeling of adventure and spontaneity, we keep our itinerary secret and reveal our plans the day before, because we love to give good surprises.

But don't worry, our trip will include all the highlights of Uganda, such as an ethical Rhino sanctuary (pictured below), a safari through multiple national parks over several days, with almost a guarantee to see the grand African wildlife, such as the Elephant, Lion, Leopards, you name it... , Chimpanzee trekking is on the plan too (the species closest to us humans!), just as doing a small river cruise is, and - most importantly - trekking through the jungle to find the beautiful, endangered, mountain gorillas.

But, I've already said too much - the rest is a surprise ;) See you there!

Why apply? We could make our job a whole lot easier and just accept direct bookings, but we pride ourselves on the groups of people we put together, making sure everyone's on the same fun, flexible, and travel-loving wavelength as everyone on the trips's travel family. What flights should I look for?

Flying in & out of Entebbe intl. Airport (EBB airport code). Arrival August 16th anytime.

Departure August 24th in the late afternoon or evening (5pm or later), or preferably on the next day on the 25th.

How does the payment work?

To secure your spot, you can pay a deposit by credit or debit card of 20% of the trip price, which is non-refundable, as it is to secure services on ground that have their own cancellation policies and are funds we do not keep - but we will always try out best to refund whatever possible, as we understand sometimes plans can change and things happen!

3 months before the start of the trip we will send you another payment link for 40%, and for the remainder, we will send another payment link two months in advance - this is so you have more flexibility with covering the cost and don't need to pay everything at once. Let us know if you need a payment plan, we are happy to help!
