Meet your team:

What will you experience?
Here at Destination Chaser, we like to keep you on your toes so every adventure you take with us has an element of surprise, this means that you won't get to know the full itinerary. But here's what you'll uncover with your new DC family for ths adventure:
-
Experiencing the coastal life in Tripoli: countless souks, bazaars, and centuries-old architecture. This under-the-radar capital has a mix of Ottoman, Italian and Islamic influences. A lively port mixed in with local life, this will be the first stop of our adventure.
-
Berber heritage in the mountains: hilltop villages and ancient granaries made by the indigenous people of North Africa: the Berbers. They have been around for millennia and you'll be able to see firsthand how their knowledge of the environment has allowed them to thrive in these lands.
-
A UNESCO-listed desert oasis: a whole settlement and trading hub built into an oasis! We promise you you've never seen anything like this before. And a whole day needs to be dedicated to Ghadames. This will be one of the highlights of your trip to Libya. These mud-built homes truly showcase the Berber ways of life.
- The edge of the Sahara: we'll be driving out to the edge just in time for sunset for you to see what life here is like. It can't be an adventure into the desert if we don't include some sand dune bashing! This is the great sand sea of the Sahara, where we'll actually be going close to the remote Algeria and Libya border. Expect the best sunset shots, a bonfire and a chance to spend time with the Tuaregs!
-
World-class Roman ruins: forget Italy or any other site you've visited in Europe. Libya has some of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world... without the crowds. We'll be visiting Leptis Magna and more. All while exploring the baths, temples and theaters that make this like a whole city frozen in time.
- Spending time with the Tuaregs: these are the original desert people, and no Destination Chaser trip is complete without meeting locals and spending time with them. The Tuaregs have called the Sahara their home for centuries: they're navigators and guardians of the traditions and culture that they've managed to keep alive for this long.

Why choose Destination Chaser?
Bringing the world closer, one adventure at a time! At Destination Chaser we combine unforgettable adventures for the traveler, while giving back to the communities that we are fortunate enough to be hosted by. We focus on:
- Ecotourism: through sustainable practices revolving around culture and nature, to help make it financially sustainable to preserve the two for communities.
- Supporting small local businesses: our trips are always comprised of locals putting their passion to work, and us supporting part of their dream through our visit.
- Dispersing tourism: over-tourism has become a problem in many places, and we believe if people simply traveled more to lesser visited places (what we focus on!), everyone would benefit: more opportunities where they normally lack tourism, travellers getting better experiences by going off-the-beaten path, and not adding to the crowds of overly popular places.
- Bringing the world closer: We believe that over time, if more people traveled to places and interacted with cultures that are oftentimes misunderstood or misrepresented, the world would become a more peaceful place. We want you to go on a trip others would not consider, and spread the word about the beauty of people and places - and open more minds to how similar we are as humans.
Thank you for being part of this movement!
