Hike to Machu Picchu! Peru group Adventure August 1-7

After last year's success with our Peru Group Adventure, we wanted to give more people the opportunity to experience the magic of the Peruvian Andes with us this year, and if you missed it, some of the once-in-a-lifetime experiences include...:

Why apply? We could make our job a whole lot easier and just accept direct bookings, but we pride ourselves on the groups of people we put together, making sure everyone's on the same fun, flexible, and travel-loving wavelength as everyone on the trips's travel family. So if that sounds like you, don't be shy - apply!

Why this trip? If you're here, you probably know what my travels are about, and you also know that it will attract exactly the kind of people that are interested in the same things: human connections, adventure, and a love for authentic travel.

 What's the itinerary?

To transmit the feeling of adventure and spontaneity, we keep our itinerary secret and reveal our plans only the day before, because we love to give good surprises. We believe good travel is about taking you on a ride instead of ticking off a list.
But don't worry, our trip will include all the highlights of this region of Peru, such as the two day Inca trail where we get off the train in the middle of the jungle and hike our way to Machu Picchu, meeting with local Quechua (indigenous) women to get an insight into how they live, hiking the Rainbow Mountain of Peru, relax in a small mountain town, and so much more. But the rest is a surprise ;)

P.S. our itinerary is tailored to best adjust the body to the high altitude, by first adapting to the altitude, and only then we start the hiking (2 days total, 1 day at a time with rest in between). The highest elevation will be conquered on the last part of the trip!

Alright, I'm down. What flights should I look for?

Flying in & out of Cusco intl. Airport (CUZ).

Arrival: August 1st anytime, preferably around noon. But you are more than welcome, and even encouraged, to come earlier so you can acclimatise to the higher altitude. You will probably have a stopover in Peru's capital, Lima, on your flight connection to Cusco, and we strongly recommend having 5 hours between those two flights. Speaking from experience.

Departure from Cusco Intl. Airport anytime on the 7th of August.

What's included in the price?

Intl. flight to & from Cusco intl. airport
