Join our Botswana & Victoria Falls Adventure, September 20-30 2025

We're going deep into the heart of southern Africa with this Destination Chaser adventure! We'll show you the best of Botswana's wildlife and culture, help you cross off a few bucket list items (including Victoria Falls!) and of course, hidden gems together with cultural immersion. All of this with a group of like-minded travelers from around the world!

What will you experience?

Days 1-4: Maun & Okavango Delta

We're starting our adventure in Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta — the largest inland delta in the world.

We'll take you on a traditional canoe - a mokoro - and travel into the Delta the way the indigenous Banoka people have traditionally done for centuries. Most people come here for a day trip, but we want to take you deeper in - taking you on multiple safaris in the delta and camping here overnight, so you get the best chances to spot elephant families (fun fact: Botswana has the largest population of Elephants of ANY country in the world), waterbucks, and perhaps more. Last time we even got to see a large family of lions with their cubs playing. We will see what nature shows us this time!

Day 5: Meeting the San People of the Kalahari

After leaving the Delta, you will get a taste for the country's diversity: the Kalahari desert. This is a special day, where we'll be together with the San People, one of the world’s oldest surviving cultures. This type of visit is not just meaningful for you - by visiting them, we're directly supporting and helping preserve their traditional way of life. A lot of land has been taking from them in the past in favour of mining companies and drilling rights, and tourism is one of the few ways that enables them to make their traditional ways of live feasible financially. You’ll learn how they find food from the land, create their clothing, and about their unique clicking language!

Days 6-8: Baobabs, Meerkats, and Starry Skies

From the wildlife, to the culture, to the landscapes: picture 4000-year-old Baobabs dotting a massive salt flat in the heart of Botswana. And you riding a 4x4 ATV in the midst of it. On the way to meet the local residents... meerkats (good luck explaining that to friends & family back home, by the way). The meerkats have been accustomed to humans through conservational research, and if you are the highest “hill” to look out from, they might just climb on you with their tiny paws.
To end the day, you’ll have a sleepover under a million stars on the salt pan with your Destination Chaser fam. We’ve planned this around new moon so you get the best views of the Milky Way! We’ll share tips on how to photograph it on your phone.

Days 9-11: Victoria Falls!

After staying in a cabin next to a watering hole frequented by elephants (this time the safari comes to you)! We'll be crossing the border over to Zambia & Zimbabwe: to Victoria Falls, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. We'll be visiting local artisan markets, and giving you free time to enjoy optional activities: white-water rafting, bungee jumping, walking by the Falls and more! Our personal favorites are swimming in the Devil's Pool and taking a micro light over Victoria Falls for the best views, to end the adventure with a bang.

This is where your incredible adventure with your new Destination Chaser family comes to an end. If you're already in this part of the world, we suggest exploring more! And we'll give you plenty of recommendations.

Why choose Destination Chaser?

 ///

Bringing the world closer, one adventure at a time. At Destination Chaser we combine unforgettable adventures for the traveler, with giving back to the communities that we are fortunate enough to be hosted by. We focus on:
///

Ecotourism: through sustainable practices revolving around culture and nature, to help make it financially sustainable to preserve the two for communities.
///

Supporting small local businesses: our trips are always comprised of locals putting their passion to work, and us supporting part of their dream through our visit.
///

Dispersing tourism: over-tourism has become a problem in many places, and we believe if people simply traveled more to lesser visited places (what we focus on!), everyone would benefit: more opportunities where they normally lack tourism, travelers getting better experiences off the beaten path, and not adding to the crowds of over-popular places.
//

Bringing the world closer: We believe that over time, if more people traveled to places and interacted with cultures that are oftentimes misunderstood or misrepresented, the world would become a more peaceful place. We want you to go on a trip others would not consider, and spread the word about the beauty of people and places - and open more minds to how similar we are as humans.
/

Thank you for being part of this movement!
