What will we experience? 

- Your adventure begins as you arrive in Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan. Get ready to have your mind blown by the extravagant, and slightly bizarre style of the “Marble City”. Our local friends will take you on a tour of the city, showing you what you shouldn’t miss: the largest indoor ferries wheel, Ruhnama Monument, the impressive Neutrality Arch, and the best local food.

- Embark on a journey to the mystical Nisa Archaeological Site, a city that once stood tall during the powerful Parthian Empire. Stroll among the ancient ruins, imagining the rich history that this city holds within its walls. Afterwards, experience an underground pool shaped by lava at the Kow Ata hot springs before getting a chance to experiencing a traditional Turkmen horse farm — but not in a crazy horse girl kind of way: Turkmens have an obsession with horses, and it’s part of their national heritage.

Discover the secrets of Nohur Village, nestled in the picturesque Kopet Dag Mountains, and be One of a few people that get to see the Parau Bibi mausoleum, a holy place hidden amongst the rocky landscape. Explore the village life and its charming sights, and immerse yourself in the local culture with a stay at a traditional house.

Board a train and embark on an adventure through time to the ancient city of Merv, a former hub of the legendary Silk Road. Immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the city, strolling among the breathtaking ruins of the mausoleums, mosques, and fortifications. Once dubbed the oldest city in the world.

 

 Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled day of adventure as we journey to the awe-inspiring Karakum desert. Uncover the treasures of Konye Urgench, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has stood the test of time for over a millennium.  

After some hours on Turkmenistan’s best road (joking, of course), be prepare to see the Darwaza Gas Crater, known as the "Gates of Hell," and witness the flames illuminates the night sky after sunset. Surrender to the depth of the desert as you camp under the stars and listen to travel stories of your fellow adventurers.

What flights should I book? 

Flying in & out of Ashgabat intl. Airport (ASB)

🛬 Arrival: in the early morning of the 2nd of October, as we will start exploring the same day. You are welcome to arrive earlier if you wish - we are happy to arrange extra accommodation and airport transfer! 


🛫 Departure: anytime of the 8th of October. Most flights depart at 3-5am, this works with the schedule. 

If flight schedules should not align for you, we will be happy to arrange extra hotel nights & airport transfers wherever needed :) 

 Personal airport pickup and drop-off are included 24h a day.

What about the visa? 

We will arrange your visa on arrival for Turkmenistan, that way you receive the visa easily upon arrival at the airport. The cost varies depending on your nationality, it is roughly 120$. 

How does the payment work? 

To secure your spot, you can pay a deposit of 20% of the trip amount. 
3 months before, 40% of the trip balance, and two months before, the remaining 40%. This is so you have more flexibility with covering the cost and don't need to pay everything at once. Let us know if you need a payment plan, we are happy to help!

What are Turkmenistan's current Covid requirements? 

As of now, you will be required to:

• be vaccinated against Covid-19

• take a Covid-19 Antigen text upon arrival in Ashgabat airport.

No quarantine.
