🗺 What's the itinerary?
We believe that good travel is about taking you on a ride, so to transmit the feeling of adventure and spontaneity, we keep our itinerary secret and reveal our plans the day before, because we love to give good surprises.
But don't worry, our trip will include all the highlights of northern Ethiopia, such as seeing the unique churches carved into rock in Lalibela, hiking and camping in the Siemen Mountains (great time for it after the rainy season), Erta Ale volcano (one of few places in the world where you can see a lava lake!), visiting the outer-worldly salt formations in Dallol, and of course, get a glimpse into local's every day life from Lalibela, to the bustling city of Addis Ababa (one of the largest and most diverse cities in Africa), and then to the harsh desert environment in the Danakil region.
But, I've already said too much - the rest is a surprise ;) See you there!

👥 Why apply? We could make our job a whole lot easier and just accept direct bookings, but we pride ourselves on the groups of people we put together, making sure everyone's on the same fun, flexible, and travel-loving wavelength as everyone on the trips's travel family. 🌍 Why this trip? I don't need to tell you what my travels are about - if you're here, you probably know, and you also know that it will attract exactly the kind of people that are interested in the same things: human connections, adventure, and a love for authentic travel. Besides from that, it will be my very last group trip, so you can bet it'll be special.
✈️ What flights should I look for?
Flying in & out of Addis Ababa intl. Airport (ADD airport code). Arrival December 5th in the morning. Departure December 14th anytime. You will find the most connections with the reliable and world-class Ethiopian Airlines.
What are Ethiopia's current covid requirements?
Ethiopia has lifted all Covid-19 restrictions. Meaning you do not need a test or vaccine to enter.
