Climb Kilimanjaro + Tanzania safari! July 16-29 2024

Bringing you the best route to summit the one, the only đŸ„ Kilimanjaro. Few accomplishments compare!

Meet your Kili Team:

Your team of professionals on the Kilimanjaro adventure

đŸ—ș What will I get out of the experience?

Climbing the highest mountain in Africa with a friendly, and experienced team of local guides, together with a team of likeminded adventurers on the same mission: to create the experience of a lifetime.

🛌 How will we sleep?

The first night will be in a local Guest House, and while trekking Kilimanjaro, you will sleep in a tent, shared with another person of the same gender (this is mostly to improve sleeping quality to keep the tent warm). The last night will be in a guest house as well. Yay to showers!

đŸšœ What's the toilet and shower situation?

In the guest houses you will have running, hot water and a functioning toilet. While trekking and camping, a portable toilet-tent with flushable water will be provided. And for washing, hot water is provided as well. Now we're talking.

â›ș What equipment will be provided, and what equipment should I bring myself? Can I rent it too?

We will provide:

- 4 season mountain hardware tents (free)

- Double layered sleeping mats (free)

What you can rent in Tanzania, or can bring yourself:

- Sleeping bag (renting: 40$, all renting prices in grey are the total for entire length of trek)

- Clothing: hiking boots (45$), warm trekking pants (10$), warm underwear (thermal underwear), gaiter, jacket (35$), ski pants for summit day (25$), gloves (5-10$), beanie (5$)

- Sun protection: 50 SPF sun screen (should be brought from home), hat, strong sunglasses

- Small day pack (25-30L) (30$)

- Headlamp (15$)

- 80L duffle bag for porters

For Safari:

- neutral, breathable clothing

- binoculars

We will share an indepth packing list so you can make sure you will come prepared!

What's the level of ease of summiting Kilimanjaro? Am I fit enough to do it?

I believe that any person that is averagely active is capable of climbing the mountain, as the first 6 days of the trek are rather mild.

Each day we will go higher, and camp at lower altitude to have our bodies adjust naturally.

You will carry your small day pack, while our team of experienced super-porters will carry the equipment. They're super humans, quite literally.

Summiting the top of the mountain is what poses most of the challenge, but as long as you have a strong mind and the willingness to focus on the end result, it should be absolutely doable. We will split into groups for those who want to walk slower, and those that want to run up the mountain, to ensure you are trekking at your level of comfort.

More than 100,000 people have summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, I trust that you can too. Plus, the route we take has an above average 90% success rate. You can do it!

What do we do to stay safe, and what is the backup plan?

Team Kilimanjaro Rescue fees are included for you, so this team would be available to you in the case of any accidents or emergencies, as well as our portable oxygen tank and oxy puls meter, and of course a first-aid kit. On top of all of this, we will require you to have your own personal travel insurance so you are covered on all bases.

On Safari - What will our accommodation be like?

You will have two options:

1: Tents: being close to nature â›ș

2: Lodges: if you are tired of tents at this point, you can upgrade to lodges for about 500$.

✈ What flights should I look for?
